Day 8

Tonight I was literally just looking for SOMETHING to shoot before I met the hubby for date night (our second in a week, what?!) I found a dead end in east Norman and thought I'd try to catch the light as the sun set. Turns out the light wasn't so great because of the grayness of the evening. Still, I liked the bare trees and I found what I thought was a creepy little sign at the head of a dirt road.

The last photo here is one of my favorites. I did NO retouching to that one at all. I love the stark contrast between the sky and the branches. Almost looks like a cherry blossom tree but it's not. If I were to guess, I'd say it were a Bradford Pear.
